I have searched for similiar Bugs but did not find any alike. I feel like it is related to

Description

On a Boot up the Touchpad, External Wireless Mouse are not able to left click wether in the Login Manager nor in the Desktop itself. As soon as I lock the Desktop (Click works again in lock screen) and unlock the Desktop it works as expected. Both Touchpad and External Mouse. I want to mention that this only happens to the left click, Mousewheel and right click working as usual. Mouse worked fine a couple of Days ago, no update done and breaking "seems random". The only thing I installed where some gcc compiler and some basic tools.

Budgie version

11.5 I guess, inside the Info it says Gnome 3.28.2

Operating system

Solus 4

Steps to reproduce the issue

Actual result

no left click on wireless external mouse

Expected result

left click

Im having exactly the same problem, no left click on touchpad or external mouse.

Device: Dell Inspiron 7559 on Ubuntu Budgie 18.04

@MMadrigalQ @daehruoydeef found quick and dirty workaround: when issue occurs, switch to console mode and back by pressing alt+fn+f1 and alt+fn+f7.

Looks like this issue is caused by Dell drivers. On my second stationary PC everything is working well.

Same here Ubuntu 20.04 on a Tuxedo Notebook. It happens on a regular base once or twice a day.
