+1, I use a mechanical keyboard steelseries g6v2 that doesn't have the left super-key, right super-key (the only that keyboard has) works only for a few shortcuts, not all, and that's a little annoying. Is anyone working in that? I would like to help, but I don't know where to start. Perhaps, I'm loving budgie with ubuntu, congrats for great UX.
I'd also like something like this please - I used to use a steelseries keyboard also, but, since switching it out (as I couldn't open the menu) my muscle memory instinctively reaches for the right super key on occasion.
Hello, any solutions on this problem? I'm on MSI GS 40, my supper key that is located on the left side reads as super_r and it so sooo anoing :(
neither super key on my keyboard works.

I discovered that using a keyboard layout different than English(US) will not trigger the budgie menu(I tested with Romanian layout)

I'm not sure that is correct. Rather than the first layout in the list works (tested on English and Swedish) but rest of the list dont work.

I have a Clevo laptop that only has a right super key - there is no left super key because some wonderful engineer decided a function key would be more useful. The budgie menu can only be invoked by the left super key, so I cannot use the super key unless I remap my keycodes in xmodmap which is frequently blown away by package updates. Is it technically possible to make the budgie menu launch on keypress of either the left OR right super key?
