Feature: different wallpaper for virtual desktops #979

I was wondering if there would be an option to have different wallpapers on different virtual desktops. This used to be a feature on KDE but was removed in Plasma 5 (see here). I think XFCE is the only DE that allows this now.

I understand it would be low priority at very best but I think it is a nice feature.

This is not possible right now because the window-manager is basically mutter - i.e. exactly the same situation as GNOME-Shell.

I know that but with changing to QT I thought might make a difference.

@pmaccarron probably some confusion as you didn't specify the version you were making the suggestion for. It was interpreted as a request for the current 10.3.x version. Especially because development on version 11 at this point has not begun.

Is it useful to have a label to differentiate requests for existing Budgie 10 and future Budgie 11?
