Decimal places in disbursements #546

From Sarah: "Just FYI - I noticed a lot of the project % breakdown by location aren't adding up to 100% because only 2 decimal points captured with the uploaded data. Not urgent, but it might be helpful to discuss at some point so we have a common response to focal points. Maybe we don't mind? I found it was important for analysis to ensure the totals were consistent when looking at the data by location or by sector. But if this is still done via excel, it could be fixed in Excel before reports are prepared.Sarah, Actually - I think the total isn't picking up on the decimals when adding together the locations. For example, I have a project reported as 16.67% for 6 locations. Still showing 96%.

@raashidahmad can I confirm that the fix included no longer allowing decimal places in disbursements?

@matmaxgeds I think I have not understood the fix well. Do I need to disallow decimal places in disbursements and allow only whole numbers?

@raashidahmad sorry, you understood the fix fine, I was just wondering if it would make everything easier if we completely disallowed decimals in the disbursements

@matmaxgeds I think from the end user point of view It will be more easy to have whole numbers, but I guess you know this well then me that disbursements are always a whole number or may be we can get Input from other mates.
