broken breadcrumbs in PW 2.3 #1

After upgrading to ProcessWire 2.3, the breadcrumbs looked broken - they would wrap and leave the last > icon hanging below the breadcrumbs.

You may want to pull this change:

Thanks again, but I fixed it by removing the whitespace/newlines in the breadcrumb markup.

will that work in IE? some versions have a tendency to break whenever and wherever ;-)
