Crash / segfault on Ubuntu 10.10 #228

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install pidgin + pidgin-microblog plugins using synaptic package manager
2. Open pidgin, enable Twitgin 0.3.0 in plugins
3. Add a twitter account (oauth pin went smoothly)
4. Double-click the twitter.com buddy to open a chat window
5. Try to send a message (i.e. type something and press enter)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Both the IM window and the Buddy window vanish.  In my syslog, I see this:

Feb  4 08:22:11 dynamo-OptiPlex-GX260 kernel: [43621.564206] pidgin[6563]: 
segfault at 127b2954 ip 0891d82b sp bffa5840 error 4 in 
libc-2.12.1.so[88b1000+157000]

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I'm using pidgin-microblog 0.3.0-1, pidgin 1:2.7.3-1ubuntu3.2 on Ubuntu 10.10 
(Maverick).

thanks for the report.
Could you please start pidgin in debug mode an log the output (i.e. "pidgin -d 
> pidgin.log", then reproduce the problem and attach the log to this issue?
