Support for external Postgresql DB #44

Sonatype is providing an external database option now for Nexus Repo. APK currently does not support this db option. Is there an expectation for supporting this sometime in the near future? I know that currently Sonatype only allows this option with Nexus Repo Pro.

Would love to see APK support in the Pro edition, but until then the only option is with this plugin. Which works fine with an OrientDB backend, but prevents migrating to a PostgreSQL backend.

OP's comment is 2,5 years ago now... so I guess this got dropped to the "Probably Never" section of the backlog...

What is needed to make this plugin work with Nexus Pro and a PostgreSQL backend? Does it need specific Nexus knowledge?
