Plugin not compatible with the new databases systems ?

• What are you trying to do? According to the official doc, this plugin is maybe not compatible with the new externals Sonatype database: https://help.sonatype.com/repomanager3/planning-your-implementation/h2-and-postgresql-database-options/feature-availability-for-postgresql-and-h2-databases

Is there any plans to have something here ?

• What feature or behavior is this required for?

• How could we solve this issue? (Not knowing is okay!)

Would love to have some answer to this since Nexus has added support to Java 17 but only for H2 and PostgreSQL databases. I'm looking to move forward from Java 11 to Java 17 but can't until I'm sure this plugin supports any of the 2 new database systems.
