We had trouble with hosting services and since the URLs were hardcoded we had to update tha app. In the process the updater in the app broke and therefore no more automatic update was rolled out starting with 1.5.6.1.
The most recent version, 1.5.6.3 fixes all the issues and has been working without issues for everyone who updated so far. Unfortunately the update has to be downloaded manually.
To manually install or update Songify, follow these steps:
Download the latest Songify.zip from this link. Extract the contents of the zip file to the same location where Songify was previously installed. If prompted to replace "Songify.exe," choose to overwrite it.
This should also fix your issues.
i have already tried that and it doesnt work, and have already completely uninstalled and reinstalled twice by now and the same thing is happening where it says its connected to my spotify but the songs arent going to the queue

Unfortunately nothing that seems off. It says connected to Spotify, Accounttype Premium, connected to Twitch etc. You could try moving the Songify exe to a different folder and set it up fresh and see if that fixes it.
after this recent update, i am still able to submit song requests and the chatbot will recognize the song, but the song doesnt move to my spotify queue and start playing like it used to. is there a fix for this? songify was working just fine before im not sure why it needed an update
