Nothing happens but "connection established" #50

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open app
2. Receive message "Connection established"
3. Only have 3 buttons at the top that make the phone vibrate, but do nothing 
else

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
a) You tell me...you're the dev.  b)see answer to #3 above

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
TMobile HTC MyTouch; Android 1.6

Please provide any additional information below.
I have changed the port access number on both the phone and my PC (from 
systray), which is being passed through my router - I've already made all 
necessary changes to the router to forward the external port to my internal 
port (for accessing from outside my network).  No changes to the router should 
be necessary for accessing my PC from inside the network.  Windows 7 Pro's 
firewall has also already been configured to allow the port to accept 
connections.

I get the same thing whether connecting from outside or inside my network.  I'm 
using WiFi...haven't tried Bluetooth yet.

Bluetooth won't work on my phone because I need Android 2.0+, so that isn't an 
option.

Disabled antivirus and local firewall...same result.
