It's a feature request, and I want to know if you'd like such feature in
Switchy.
(Star this issue if you like the feature requested).

i will woul to like to see this option, working like this :

pattern: *youtube.* -> proxy profile 1
pattern: *          -> proxy profile 2

and a way to simple click in a actual link to add the current site to some
profile.
in this way i can add the sites that are websense blocked to pass trough my own
tunnel

A new version has been released, supports URL based switch rules.
Please test it and give me your thoughts.

Testing on Linux/Chromium.

Browser Info: 5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US) AppleWebKit/532.8 (KHTML, like
Gecko)
Chrome/4.0.283.0 Safari/532.8

Default rule works - But the others don't. Adding a quick rule does not work
either.

The only thing in the log is this:
[09:56:49] [error] - Plugin Error @RuleManager.applyRules() > TypeError: Object
#<an
HTMLEmbedElement> has no method 'writePacFile'
[09:56:53] [error] - Plugin Error @RuleManager.applyRules() > TypeError: Object

I'm observing the same issue on Linux/Chrominum:

"""
[11:48:43] [error] - Plugin Error @RuleManager.applyRules() > TypeError: Object
#<an
HTMLEmbedElement> has no method 'writePacFile'
"""

Browser details:
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US) AppleWebKit/532.5 (KHTML, like Gecko)
Chrome/4.0.249.30 Safari/532.5

What shall I do to get this feature work properly?

Changelist says that this feature is for Windows/Chrome only. When are you
going to
port it on Linux based distributions?

@allan, @ydidukh This feature currently works on Windows only, I'll port it to
Linux
very soon.

@jamestharvey What's your OS? and send me the error log please.

Implemented Switch Rules for Linux (Gnome/KDE 32/64 bit) :)
The new version 1.3.5 will be released later today.

@jamestharvey
From the log it seems that Switchy works well.
Well, please check this page (chrome://net-internals/proxyservice.config) and
send me
the contents.
(this page gives you helpful details about current proxy configuration).
