Thanks for this. Looks like there's some issues on your system with the internal processes talking to each other on the local loopback network.
Do you happen to be running a firewall? Also, could you try rebooting and see if that somehow fixes it?

Hi, I am getting a similar issue on Mac OS X 10.15.7. I cannot find where the actual logs are stored, but this is what I see on startup. SonicPiLogs.txt
@jenaber27 could you look at the logs in ~/.sonic-pi/log/
? I'm not sure these issues are related.
Also, I just released v4.1.0 - so it's definitely worth checking that first :-)
