Want to translate in french , need help.

Hello Nils, first thank you for the good job done with this addon : it's allow us to update our laptop stuff (without reboot , so during working period)! I need to offer French user ui, i saw spanish file .mo and .po, how could i must proceeed in order to 1- push langage in our current wpkg-gp client ? 2 - create the .mo file (which seem to be compiled )

So i would like to contribute to you work ....

Hi, i put together a small guide in the wiki for this in the past: https://github.com/sonicnkt/wpkg-gp-client/wiki/Translation-and-Customisation

But if you have problems just ask :)

You may also want to translate the help window, there is no guide for this yet but it is even easier.

Just open the help_en.md (or help_de.md) in your favorite text editor and save it as "help_fr.md" ( you may also want to create new screenshots in your language). You can also create a help file specific for your company/organisation and specify its name in the config ini. This will override the default settings to load a lanuage specific one.

I am working on a new version of the client right now with a few more strings to translate. If you dont mind i will contact you before the release so i can add an updated french translation to the next release.

no problem for me if i can help you. i'm newb with github (so fork, commit , branch , trunk ... svn is far from me ;-)).

i will give a view to the full help. (i can do that in french, no problem for that)

For sure, you can contact me for translation, and for coding too. (i'm not a skilled developper, middle dev., but i know basic of java, c (and c++), vbs , bash, vb etc)

i think it will be a good idea to create a tool for managing host, package and profil xml file. i like the architecture of WPKG, it's a pull client
