Calibration wizard dead ends #48

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install on HTC Incredible
2. Run calibration wizard
3. Press button to standby when prompted

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Phone wakes up after 10 seconds, but prompt to press button remains with no way
to continue. Kill app, retry, same. No apparent way to proceed.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.

Possibly problem with Widget Locker app? Possible that problem occurs when net
connection exists but signal is too weak?

Interesting idea, but gave up after second attempt.

I'll see what I can do. In the meantime, you can manually edit your settings.
According to my statistics, 20 out of 22 Droid Incredibles have the
screen-accelerometer bug, so you should probably enable that option. Then just
set your sleep alarm trigger to about what you had it in the wizard and you
should be good to go.

That being said, I'm still experimenting with automatically detecting the bug
and it might be flat-out wrong in many cases.

This was partially due to the widget locker app, but I was doing some things
that were questionable. Fixed. Will be in 0.7
