There is also a more basic issue, that the battery in manual mode is not able to be charged by the PV. So if the battery thinks its price is too high it prevents from discharging by setting the battery to manual mod. In that case solar production can't load the battery.
With better weather, we need to take the amount of Wh charged into account (at least roughly).
PV generated power will lower the price of the battery discharge - depending on how much we charged, significantly. So, we might be blocking the battery from discharging because we think the price is higher than the current Tibber price, when in reality it isn't.
