tested changes on kugo. The echo issue wasn't alleviated, as reported by the person on the other end.
Just to be completely sure, the changes on Kugo that didnt work, was that Handset-Voip-Call or Speaker-Voip-Call?
just repeated the test, and it's both usecases. the only usecase i tested that had no echo was with a bt headset, i.e when not using the device's speaker/mic
Might this be related to how we have the mic gains inverted? https://github.com/sonyxperiadev/device-sony-suzu/blob/master/rootdir/vendor/etc/mixer_paths.xml#L2122-L2123 https://github.com/sonyxperiadev/device-sony-suzu/blob/master/rootdir/vendor/etc/mixer_paths.xml#L1759-L1766
EDIT: nope, switched the values and still the same, maybe they are just generally too high
We have Echo issues with dual-mic handset Voip call so we route it to single mic handset instead. We have to change the hardcoded path to handset-mic and redirect all the other routings to voice-dmic-ef instead of dmic-endfire.
