From the UG, the reader can only know that the target users might include people who are well-versed with CLI and can type fast, but nothing is said about the role or details of the people in the F&B industry who might find the app useful.

Team's Response

We clearly mentioned "restaurant management" and "daily operation of a restaurant", both of which points clearly to people who manages a restaurant (which is clearly defined in our opinion).

Reason for disagreement: I understand your perspective, but I respectfully disagree. While you have mentioned "restaurant management" and "daily operation of a restaurant," these terms are very broad and do not clearly define the specific roles or responsibilities of the intended users within the restaurant industry.

To effectively communicate the value of your application to potential users, it's crucial to be more specific about who your target audience is. Consider the following questions:

  1. Are you targeting restaurant owners, managers, servers, or kitchen staff?
  2. What specific challenges do these individuals face that your application aims to solve?
  3. How does being well-versed with CLI and typing fast relate to their roles and responsibilities?

By providing more details about the intended users, their roles, and the specific pain points your application addresses, you can help readers better understand how your product fits into their workflow and benefits their daily operations.

For example, you could say something like: "DinEz is designed for restaurant managers and owners who are looking to streamline their daily operations. Our application is particularly well-suited for tech-savvy individuals who are comfortable using Command Line Interface (CLI) and can type quickly. With DinEz, managers can efficiently handle tasks such as order taking, menu management, and accessing order statistics, all within a single, reliable application." By clearly defining your target users and their specific needs, you can more effectively communicate the value of your application and help potential users understand how it can benefit their restaurant management processes
