1 year ago You know, I'm just going to ship this. My couple random .twitinfo commands and pasted tweet links have worked fine.
Normally I'd test more thoroughly over a few days, but between how long it's already been broken and the fact that I'm not likely to have the time for testing until sometime next week, let's just test in prod.
Lots of stuff changed this week, breaking the old library version AND adding required authentication to fetch any data on the new endpoints. Cookies are now required.
Recommending that people do not use credentials for their main Twitter account out of an abundance of caution; one never knows the possible consequences of associating an account you actually care about with a tool like this.
