Refactor/Fix remaining in script business logic #41

This technical debt is in place from the get go, see Introduction:

[...] (very early stages, most of this is still provided inline in the scripts and needs to be refactored into the respective sub modules still)

It is meanwhile affecting downstream clients (see e.g. StackFormation) and should be fixed accordingly.
