I don't understand point of this chat room? We already have a chat room :P

The thing that worries me is that: we tried a similar experiment using Slack. It pretty much failed entirely. No one really used it. Having a Gitter chat that anyone can join worries me that 1) no one will use it, or (worse) 2) Some well-meaning soul who wants to help will use it, and no one else will.
