The test case derivation suggests that a user will test the drop down option. If I am correct in understanding this then the test will not be automated, it will be manual.
Unless what is meant is that the system tests the different models. In that case then perhaps the way that "input" is written can be reworded, as an automated system will just take the various models from memory and the drop down will not be a part of that.
Also, the input may need to specify or reference the models for clarity.
