Working off a backed up NAND from USB #161

Working off a backed up NAND from USB, or to have a choice.
Ultimately you can have two instances of Wiiflows installed. One for WBFS
and the other running NAND from USB..
Simple question, but whether it is possible, I guess I will be informed?

You want use the nand from USB? Check the sneek project for that (also on google
code). Or do you want to be able to use the nand emulation for save games,
which is
available in cios 222?

Thanks for your input.

I have looked at and don't like Sneek... I LOVE Wiiflow, so ideally to have the
ability to start wiiflow and choose for example:

A. for WBFS partition
B. for a backed up nand (containing all wiiware stuff) which is sitting on the
FAT32
partition.

maybe I am asking for too much.

But we don't even support WiiWare. So "playing" from a backuped NAND won't do
anything.

If you want to play WiiWare from a backup nand, check out TriiForce :P

though it works, triiforce is problematic.

with forwarders wiiflow works. Issue is that wii games and wiiware together is
too
much to handle for the human mind...to be able to somehow separate them is ideal

I guess my request is a pure wish....

It may be possible someday, just not right now. We have alot we are already
working on
that needs fine tuned and finished.

Well, I guess you just want categories, so you can have a different view for
wiiware
games and other games.

You can wait for that :P

OTOH, you can also wait for the channel launchers, so you can launch channels
in your
NORMAL nand. We won't support a NAND from usb though. Sneek is the only app
which can
do that.

Keep up the great work.

categories is done, it will be in the next svn rev. There are 11 categories,
expect it
sometime late next week.

added in dev svn somewhere near 400, will steadily be improved although its
better compatibility than MC from what our testers say.
