Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Try to install the covers from Wiiflow with a Lacie 1Tb Hdd
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
WiiFlow work fine, I can change the theme, play some games, ... If I would like
to download the covers from Wiiflow I have these steps :
- The network is initializing
- The covers is downloaded
- The covers try to be saved in "usb:/wiiflow/boxcovers/..." but nothing
appends. The screen is not freezed, I can move the finger. So the cover is
never installed.
I can press on the cancel button but nothing appends again

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Wiiflow 2.1 r92 with the forwarder in the usb drive

Please provide any additional information below.

I forget to specify that it's the same with 3d or 2d covers.

Before and after there is nothing in the "boxcovers" or "cache" directory

try deleteing the url lines in your wiiflow.ini.

Have you ever created a new ini?

FYI,
Mine is working fine with Wiiflow 2.1 r92a. I downloaded the cover and
installed on SD card instead of USB HDD.
This release, Wiiflow 2.1 r92a is the best version so far. However, I have not
repressively test it. It fixes most the earlier issues.
Good Work WiiFlow Team :) . Thanks & Keeping it up :)

Hello,

Thanks for the reply.

This is my tests :
- I tried to delete the URL lines in the wiiflow.ini of the usb hd (no success)
- I tried to delete the wiiflow.ini of the usb loader (a new one is created but
no success)
- I tried to change the usb port (no sucess)
- I tried to change the language and theme (this is writed in the wiiflow.ini
but no success)
- I tried with the sd key (IT WORK)

So, the problem should come from my usb hd (but I can write on it to create the
wiiflow.ini) or from this version that cannot write in the boxcover folder of
the usb disk.

In my USB drive I have 3 partitions.
- One NTFS (for my personnal datas)
- One FAT32 (for the wiiflow conf)
- One WBFS (for the games)

I would like to thank you for the wiiflow project, this is a great work !!

bye

vindryn,
I know that some of other people having lots of issues with Lacie HDD. I think
your case is due to the Lacie HDD. If you have Western Digital or Seagate HDD,
you will be fine budy. I try both of these without an issue.

Nice day,

BN.
