Metroid Prime Trilogy - Back to Wii Menu #29

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Installing Trilogy with Wiiflow
2.Starting Trilogy with Wiiflow
3.Choose a Game from the Trilogy
4.Loading Screen is appearing
5.Black Screen and returning to the wii menu

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Starting the MP Game

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
From the download section. Tested both IOS 222 and 249.

Please provide any additional information below.
Tested some Tutorials and "Help me" in different communities but nothing
really helped. The only thing which is working is to extract the dols from
the iso and place it to the root of SD.
But it must also work to start the dols from the iso image (somehow).

1 . installed "hermes's cIOS rev4" : cIOS222 = "IOS38 merged with 37"
2 . selected the cIOS222 in game setting.
3 . Launch MTP once for create a profil and backup.
4 . Selected "alt/dol" for launch the game what you wanted. rs5mp1_p, rs5mp2_p
or
rs5mp3_p (or or something like that :p)
enjoy

Okay. That's the second possibility to play.^^
But there must be a way to boot the dols from the iso. So you don't have to
reboot
the wii (everytime you want to play MP1,2 or 3)

Btw it's also working without hermes cIOS.

noviceultra gave you the right answer, this is the same with all current
loaders and
not a problem with WiiFlow, it doesn't work without setting an alt dol.
You don't need to extract the dols at all, select the dol for the Metroid game
you
want to play using the settings and start MPT.
