USB Gecko support #73

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
Currently it isn't possible to use a USB Gecko on games launched with
Wiiflow as it can't establish a connection whether Ocarina is on or not,
which I also had to point out to the creators of Coverfloader some time back.

Expect support for this in the next revision (r40?).

I never updated this issue, but it should be possible to connect the gecko. The
only
downside is that there is no interface for the hooktype yet. You have to edit
the
wiiflow.ini manually, to select the correct hooktype for a specific game.

You can do this by setting to values under a game specific section

[GAMEID]
hooktype=1 <-- check patchcode.c for valid hooktypes
debugger=on <-- or off

hooktype can be set by the game settings menu now, only debugger=yes needs set
manually atm. I'm marking this done since the debugger button will soon be in
wiiflow anyway.
