Creating cache files #9

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Enter Settings
2. Select Download/Covers/All or Missing
3. Downloads Covers then codedumps creating cache files or no cover shows after 
creating cache file

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Either a created cover or no cover found

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
WiiFlow 1.1 R8
Sysmenu 4.1E
cIOS 249 Rev 14

Please provide any additional information below.

can u delete all files from /boxcovers and /cache and re-try the download please
as i cant seem to reproduce the error myself.

I can reproduce it with R8. It seems to be an issue with the new devkitPPC r18
compiler gcc 4.4.1. I have setup a r17 environment with the new libogc 1.8.0 and
libfat 1.0.5, re-compiled R8 and now it seems to be ok. I am testing ...

Not a problem with devkitPPC, but a problem with libfat only. Either something
wiiflow does that the latest libfat doesn't like, or a bug in the latest libfat.
Seems to corrupt the fat partition. Try to read the PNG file in Windows.

Thanks Hibern,

later, i found out that it is a bug in the libfat 1.0.5.

DevkitPPC r18 and gcc 4.1.1 works fine if you don't use libfat 1.0.5. No 
problems
with memory management or something else.
