I am not really in a position to answer for the project. Even still it would be a definite no.
Forestry could work even for Glim and will most certainly work for your Jekyll projects. It was neat & very slick looking UI, so simple too. I almost let complete newb's code commit access to my Hugo projects, because they certainly could have figured out how to make posts.
I love the improvements in rendering speed and live preview in Glim. I've been using Jekyll for a long time now (currently have 2700+ posts in it) but I miss being able to create/write in the browser. I've been experimenting with lektor, a newer site generator that includes a basic admin UI that lets the user browse content and create new content.
Would something like this be interesting or useful for Glim?
