I was wondering what versions of other libs should we aim at.

Should we still support Rails 3? What about Ruby 1.9?

I suggest dropping support for DataMapper, it hasn't been updated for a long time and instead https://github.com/rom-rb is developed

If we decide to drop support for Rails 3 then I think we can also drop support for Mongoid 2 and 3, as the only Mongoid version working with Rails 4 is Mongoid 4.

Any thoughts?
