Can this be tool used with GitLab? #449

It seems like most of the backporting concepts should be available by using regular git commands, but I wonder if anyone has tried it or documented how to do it? Thanks!

Sorry for the slow reply. No it's very much tied to Github's API. GitLab support could be added but it's not something I'm planning to do anytime soon unfortunately.
