Description was already implemented in the code but not populated in the metadata source file. Also description is now parsed as Markdown.
Thumbnail images are named by convention -- the dataset id plus '.jpg'.

This is the technical implementation for #247 but it still needs copy (currently lipsum placeholders). The thumbnails should be good to go, though.
