Thank you Sue. Using versioning of the underlying dataset could also be helpful to keep the citation aspect possible, so people can reference the salmon scanner, v.1.0.3 etc in their reports. This looks to be a very useful tool!
Versioning of the shiny software is one aspect, but also versioning of the underlying data fed into the scanner is the second aspect, also very important (substantial new data added, incremental increase in version ID). Just some thoughts, happy to discuss further as this develops. Great work!
