(MIUI 12) Timeline on miniplayer not showing up on a specific condition

In the miniplayer, timeline doesn't show up sometimes As far as I observed, it only happens when the song doesn't have any album image

  • Device: Xiaomi Mi 9T
  • OS: Android 11
  • Version: MIUI 12.1.1

• Additional issue The little icon on the task bar is always black Since I'm using dark mode and dark background, it's more or less impossible to see the icon In other words, the icon doesn't adapt to the background Screenshot : The icon is there and can even be barely seen with the non-black wallpaper thingy

I test the app on an AOSP ROM, as far as I can tell the timeline bug is MIUI specific, and for the icon, I didnt know it has an icon in the status bar ! 🤔

Have you tried other music apps to see if they have the same issue with the timline ?

Hi, thank you for the fast answer Bad news, I tried Symphony and my stock MiMusic and it doesn't happen on both For the status bar icon, it simply looks like a black circle with a black triangle in it (imitating a player)

Plus, I really like your little minimalistic music player, I really want to stick with it If I had skills in Kotlin (+ Android Studio I guess) i would definitely try to contribute

I just wanted to drop it there I saw your patch notes about the app icon on status bar not adapting to current background, saying it needed to be tested Not only it seems to work perfectly but I saw you added a real icon I must say really good job on this one because it looks really nice

I'm currently working on a list of new little ideas to be implemented and a list of bugs that I encountered with the new update So far I have 2 ideas and 1 minor bug
