@ooker777 sorry for the late reply, but I don't think there's a reliable way to check whether the +2 is for an answer and not a legitimate rep change/suggested edit rep without calling the API and that would require calls every time a rep change is detected which could be a lot for some :/ sorry, I don't think we'll be adding this feature
Thanks. But since the propose is to hide trivial rep change, hide all the +2 is acceptable, no? If no, do you know how to hide it?
@ooker777 I'll try looking into it as soon as I can, it might be that checking for the rep is harder than its gain but I'll give it a shot!
Thanks a lot. Do you have a donation box? 😜
@ooker777 Sorry this took so long. I tried looking into this a while ago but couldn't find a reliable way to tweak the rep notification, including: detecting the change, realising it's due to an accepted answer/suggested change, and reducing/removing the count if so.
As this is a feature that I don't think many people are going to use, I don't think I'm going to try implement it, especially as it won't be 100% reliable. I'm sorry it took a while to get back to you, but please do keep submitting any feature requests you have though, I do try to get most of them done!
The rep is so insignificant, yet the notification always triggers me to click on it.
