Default value for new column

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Add column to existing table.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect to be able to set the default value for the new column.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? With
what .NET implementation/version?
0.7 on .net 2.0

What database and version are you seeing this issue on?

Please provide any additional information below.
I can handle this currently by running an update query on the table when
adding the column or manually making the change, but there are cases when I
want to set a default value and cannot.

Please ignore this issue.  I somehow missed this as I am still relatively early 
on in
using the framework.
