Linux server don't accurate the IP. Nexus S client don't connect #69

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open the server on Linux dist OS, always says my IP address is 127.0.1.1
2. Open the client on Nexus S phone, put the fake IP (127..etc) not working
3. Put the actual private server IP address on the client, not working

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Accurate IP address from the server. 
Any life's signal using fake or real IP

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Running server on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

Please provide any additional information below.
The "mouse pad" area in the client comes in red, different to click buttons. 
don't know if its normal.
