ABOUT THE OPENING We are looking for an Engineering Lead to be ahead of our Hispanic LatAm, that is part of our Regional Expansion tribe. Our team works closely with local partners and government institutions to bring Wise’s mission to the region. 🤝 We integrate with local payment systems to reduce transfers from days to seconds. We implement AML and KYC requirements to help fight financial crime while making things convenient for our customers. We are building low-latency and scalable systems.

It's important to have a strong Java background experience and management abilities (1:1, feedback, performance review, etc), and a strong product mindset (knowledge about a Product lifecycle, roadmap, etc).

Requirements 🔹Java 15+ experience, with Spring framework; 🔹Experience with CI/CD pipeline and distributed and concurrent system; 🔹Experience writing testable code, TDD; 🔹Strong experience developing products and platforms; 🔹Experience with relational and non-relational databases. 🔹Previous experience as a Team/technical lead 🔹Advanced English

📍 Location: London (United Kingdom) 🇬🇧 We are happy to provide relocation support for you and direct family members.

• Hybrid model of work, with the possibility to work from any country in the world for 3 months/year. 🤩

💰 Our salary range, depending on your skills level, is from £95k~£130k gross/year + RSUs (Restrict Unit Stocks).
