Smarty 2.2 backlight issue #170

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
Been testing the SP2.2 with the inverted backlight.

The backlight simply never works with this compile time option - when
downloaded from the compilation server

This leaves 2 possible options:

1. The compilation server is not actually compiling in the option
2. The code is not correct.

I have not yet tested this out with a local compile. Primarily because the
windows compilers are unable to get the firmware small enough!!

Ok.. tested with a basic compile.

Issue is I believe with the compilations server not taking the option.

So you tested with a binary you compiled yourself with the SP22=YES option?
Romolo checked and saw nothing incorrect on the compilation server!

Just tested with a local compile off local svn and it works!

So seems the compile under the server may be wrong. Will do more testing
later to verify if it was not just me being dumb!

Ok.. tested.

No idea why.. but it now works!!

I am wondering if I have a dodgy solder joint or something!
