Timer reset function enhancement #226

Pasting my post as is, simpler. Woul be valid for !M64

----------------
I also don't like the current way, I can't count the number of times I've reset
the timer unwillingly when exiting the menus by pressing EXIT one time too
much... I made a suggestion some time ago but forgot about it... it just came
back :)

MENU short: enter edit mode, highlight Timer 1
UP/DOWN: switch focus between timer 1 and timer 2 (if displayed)
MENU long: reset selected timer
EXIT: exit

(X9D would be enter long to enter edit mode, it's unused on the main views)

Of course on the main view you can still press exit short to cancel an "timer
elapsed" alarm without resetting the timer like now without having to enter
edit mode (typically happening in flight when you can't look at the screen).
But that way resetting the timer would always be a 2-step operation, MENU
short, MENU long. And you have a way to cancel with EXIT before the second
press if you got there by mistake.

+1.
For consistancy, I would suggest a simple "EXIT long" for reseting then
automaticaly exiting just after, instead of the "MENU long" + "EXIT" sequence.

On '64A I suggest we only enable [EXIT long] = Reset all timers
[EXIT short] would only work on the TIMER2 screen for clearing this timer

@Franck: But then when you want to reset both timers you have to enter edit
mode a 2nd time!

Might not be needed to exit after you've done your job, for example if you
don't press exits it exits automatically after 5 seconds

M64: OK

Ok too for M64 :)

Right André. So, we should keep your first sequence, with a small difference
to be consistent with M64 : "Exit long" instead of "MENU long".

For !M64 I would propose those 2 screens. It's at least easier to implement ;)
