can't find the executable, i don't know where it is all i have is a DSMapStudio.sln

You've downloaded the source code. You can find a link to releases on the sidebar on the right of the github page. If you need the latest assets for Armored Core 6, there's an update of those available in the tools channel of servername, linked in the program's help menu.
