The reason is unknown yet.

Do you mean XWinMosaic is raised in background? If so, then you can try a code from my fork https://github.com/idealist1508/xwinmosaic/tree/w32

@idealist1508 Doesn't seem to help. The bug appears when you switch to some window and then immediately hit Alt+Tab again.
