Element export script should export to SVG as well as PNG #193

What new or enhanced feature are you proposing?
Currently, the automated element export script exports diagrams only to
PNG. It should also export to SVG, so that they can be converted into
vector images for the thesis.

What goal would this enhancement help you achieve?
Better quality images for the thesis.
