My Biggest Issues #92

My biggest issues with Clipmash:

  1. Unable to update Stash videos with current markers/tags. Sure I can press DELETE to remove a videos markers, then press SYNC to get the current markers and update the videos tags, but using this process to update hundreds or thousands of videos is beyond unfeasable. The only other option is to delete the ENTIRE database from the DATA folder, then re-import library 480 videos at a time... which isn't very fun either. Ideally (and if possible), there would be a SYNC ALL button to fully sync/update all videos or individual tasks for SYNC ALL MARKERS and SYNC ALL TAGS.

  2. No way to select particular markers. Example: Lets say I want to make a compilation of all cumshots. I can't select all the videos in my library because clipmash will crash/hang trying to process all of them. So then I start removing videos from my selection until its a low enough number for clipmash to handle and not be super lagged. But making compilations from a small # of videos defeats the whole purpose of using clipmash.

I believe the problem is I cant tell clipmash to only load/process cumshot markers until AFTER it has processed ALL markers from all selected videos. Clipmash TV on the other hand, seems to be able to select individual markers on demand without processing everything else. However, with mashtv there is no way to export.

Speaking of mashtv...

  1. PERFORMERS does not work. After selecting a performer and pressing start, I am shown random markers from my stash library. All my performers are listed on mashtv with accurate marker counts so I have no idea whats going on. Also MARKER TITLES and VIDEO TAGS work perfectly.

Hey, thanks for the feedback!

I have some ideas for a redesign of the UI in general but I haven't really been able to get around to it yet.. See #88 for my thoughts and ideas. I think they should address your issues for the most part. (batch editing would be part of that)

Your third point is probably a bug, I'll take a look.
