Since Windows 8 and 10 encourages using search instead of menus to launch a program, the user cannot rely anymore on the menu hierarchy. Moreover this feature is OS dependent and doesn't appear in the zip-to-desktop Windows version either.
That's why it could be more interesting to rely on an in-client menu to:
browse the manual
use a common mod combination (sound pack, crazy mod, etc)
browse the website of a mod or even the main client.
The only remaining shortcut would be: "SoundRTS unstable" or "SoundRTS 1.2", etc.
