I've had this issue too, but struggling to reproduce to try find any errors or anything that could help the engineers. If it happens again, or you can reproduce, please can you provide more information such as any errors you might see in the Dev Tools (Help>Toggle Dev Tools).

Is this a dupe of https://github.com/sourcegraph/cody/issues/5296 I provide possible reasons here. spoiler alert, cody spams state hard and crashes it Recover the chat by restarting and going to history. Come on SourceGraph, fix this, its a huge pain
