Thank for taking the time to fill this feature request fully. Without it we may not be able to , and the issue may be closed without resolution.

It should be possible to install the following on MacOS:

[ ] OpenJDK
[ ] AdoptOpenJDK
[ ] Corretto

The existing resources should detect it is being run on Mac and use homebrew to install the correct Casks and taps
