This supercedes #167 so that we can run our tests properly on a forked repo.

Bring SmartOS defaults inline with current pkgsrc, fix rubocop and unit test bugs.
Address comments
Cookbook should note SmartOS as officially supported
remove extra metadata
Update changelog
