Interesting project. Are you intending this for a particular board game or general board games? Is the project available under an open source license?

I'm hoping to use this to prototype my own board game ideas as digital versions. I want a basic framework that supports making typical board games. I'm starting with one board game that I just store in the same project for now. I have not thought about license yet. Not sure what the default settings for the project means. I should maybe read up on licenses to see what I want. At this early stage I don't mind if anyone copies and makes their own code forks. One reason I started my own project was for flexibility to adapt the framework based on the needs. However it's the first time I create this kind of web app so it's a project for learning also.

Okay, that all sounds very good. Regarding licensing, something to keep in mind is that you can license framework and game under difference licenses. That is very common (even going further than using different licenses for framework/game/game assets).
