Sean67854: I found if I hold down 13 and press 15 twice, when I release, it appears to go to sleep (the power light remains lit). I can only wake it by clicking the power button. when it wakes from sleep, the volume is set to 100, but when i click volume down, it immediately drops back to the previous volume setting. I just double checked and it's exactly the same when the Top setting is selected.
