This requires setting the "type" option on the interface in UCI to "bridge" and specifying a list of ports.
There should not be any disadvantage to setting eth{0,1} as a bridge interface by default in new builds? Then a node host doesn't need to worry about which port they plug into and the other port can be used as a passthrough. We don't use the spare port for anything else at the moment.
