TBM does not work with RX480 #90

The miner starts with all the other GPUs but the RX480 8GB does not start. Mining Ethereum on HiveOS. Does this miner supports older GPUs such as RX480 ?

This is working fine in windows, so I guess it has something to do with the drivers.

To update AMD drivers - upgrade your Hive OS image to the latest version. Updating AMD drivers separately is not recommended.

The HiveOS has the latest stable kernel version. The RX 480 works just fine with all other miners: lolminer, nbminer, phoenixminer, etc.

i can also report my 470,580 amd did not work in a mixed rig with 5600 and vega and 3060 ti. the vega hashhrate is very low. nvidia looks good. some good future was a share difficult watch and score. i m on hiveos too all up to date

did you install the latest amd driver?

@sp-hash Test Linux for AMD Mixed rig. If mixed RIG not detect RX4XX, RX5XX. I did command to device list. Not detected RX580 on opencl devices. Also, detect RTX3080 on opencl devices and different PCI id from cuda device My system up to date MMPOS and all GPU drivers. I am thinking not to driver issue. I seen Windows version work fine. But, not to Linux version.

Other ppl have made it work on hiveos. Install the latest amd driver

try to upgrade to 1.22. and put --dag-intensity 1
